How does the composition of this gel differ from ordinary enterosorbents, and why does it contain inulin?

Many familiar enterosorbents are built on a single active ingredient, for example only activated charcoal or only silicon dioxide. FARMGRUPP Enterosorbent geel Detox uses a combination of three functional ingredients, each working in its own way.

  • Silicon dioxide is a classic sorbent with a pronounced adsorbent capacity: it holds on to unwanted substances, which are then eliminated naturally.
  • Pectin is a soluble dietary fibre. In water it swells and forms a gel-like medium that can bind some unwanted compounds in the intestinal lumen. Pectin is largely what gives the suspension its gel texture.
  • Inulin is a prebiotic fibre that does not adsorb substances but serves as food for the body's own beneficial gut flora. Its presence in the formula means that the product is not limited to sorption alone but also supports an environment for symbiotic bacteria.

The formula also includes thiamine (vitamin B1), which is involved in metabolic processes, although it is not the main active ingredient of this product.

This combination makes the formula more multifaceted than single-ingredient sorbents, but it does not mean that the product replaces specialised probiotics or medicinal products.
