Most warming creams work by a single mechanism: a substance (for example, methyl nicotinate or capsaicin) dilates blood vessels and creates a feeling of warmth. FBT MADUMÜRK combines this approach with an additional ingredient, dipeptide diaminobutyroyl benzylamide diacetate.
This synthetic peptide contains no real snake venom: it was created as a cosmetic analogue that mimics the venom's mild muscle-relaxing action. In practice this means that, in addition to warming, the product helps reduce the feeling of tightness and overstrain in the area of application; that is, it acts not only on circulation but also on the muscle tone of the skin and underlying tissues at the site of application.
The plant part of the formula adds another layer: comfrey is traditionally used for a feeling of heaviness and stiffness after bruises and sprains, marsh cinquefoil is often found in formulas for the back and joints, and extracts of dandelion, lingonberry leaf and rosebay willowherb act as supporting ingredients for the skin in the area of application.
In short, this balm differs from a standard warming cream in its more multi-layered formula: warming plus a mild relaxing action plus plant extracts. This makes it a more suitable choice for areas with pronounced tension rather than just for superficial warming.
