How does chlorophyllin differ from ordinary chlorophyll, and why is it the form used in supplements?

Chlorophyll is a natural pigment that enables plant leaves to capture sunlight. In its pure form it is fat-soluble and does not mix well with water, so it is hardly ever used in liquid supplements: it is unstable and breaks down quickly.

Chlorophyllin is a water-soluble form obtained from plant chlorophyll by chemical modification. It is this form that dissolves well in water, remains stable in a liquid concentrate and distributes evenly in a drink when diluted. This makes chlorophyllin the standard choice for liquid supplements — including VITATEKA Vedel klorofüll.

In practice, this means the concentrate is easy to add to a glass of water or another drink: it disperses evenly in water; a natural sediment may form in the bottle during storage, so the concentrate is shaken before use. The recommended serving is 10–15 ml 1–2 times a day, 20–30 minutes before meals.

The product is not a substitute for a balanced diet and is not intended to treat or prevent any disease.
