Topical products for use after bruises are usually divided into cooling and warming ones — they differ first of all in the sensations on the skin. According to the composition stated in the product card, TRAVMAZIN contains camphor and turpentine — components that usually give a feeling of warmth, so in sensation the gel is closer to warming products than to cooling ones.
Cooling products are more often chosen in the first minutes after a fresh injury, warming ones — as a rule, later, when the acute period has passed. There is no exact selection scheme on the label: the manufacturer states only that the gel is applied to the skin of the legs in a thin layer, rubbed in lightly, twice a day, and for external use only.
The gel does not replace a specialist's consultation. If it's a serious injury, pronounced pain or swelling, it's better to see a doctor.
