How do these lozenges differ from ordinary sweets, and why do they contain vitamins C and D3?

On the outside RADOGRAD lozenges look like ordinary boiled sweets, but the composition is fundamentally different. Ordinary sweets contain sugar, flavourings and colourings, and nothing more. Here the raspberry and pear flavour is combined with ten herbal extracts, honey, lemon juice and two vitamins.

Vitamin C takes part in the work of the immune system and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It is one of the most studied vitamins in the context of seasonal support for the body, and its presence in the lozenge is not decorative: as the lozenge dissolves, it is gradually released together with the herbal components.

Vitamin D3 is important for the immune response, especially in periods when there is less sunlight, in autumn and winter. Many people in northern countries experience a deficiency of it precisely in the cold season, so including D3 in a seasonal product is logical.

Rutin is a plant flavonoid that is traditionally combined with vitamin C in complexes of this kind.

So the lozenge performs a double function: a pleasant taste and the gradual release of active components on contact with the lining of the mouth. This is a food supplement: it does not replace a balanced diet and is not a medicinal product.
