The main difference lies in the base. In ordinary chewing gum the base is usually neutral and is needed mainly for texture, while the taste comes from flavourings and sweeteners. Here it is the other way round: the chewing base is Siberian larch resin, a thick tree resin complemented by beeswax and mint. In other words, the base itself is the key component of the formula, not a carrier for additives.
This has practical consequences you should be prepared for:
Taste. It is resinous and herbal-minty, not sweet. Many people like it precisely because it is natural, but it is clearly not “mint-flavoured gum”.
Firmness. At first the resin gum may be harder than ordinary gum and needs to warm up briefly in the mouth — for the first few seconds you simply chew it, after which it softens.
Perception. The product belongs to the wholesome food category and is perceived not as a sweet but as a functional resin gum for mechanical oral hygiene.
If you are looking for sweet chewing gum, your expectations may not be met; but if you want a natural option without a synthetic base, this format will suit you.
