Can it fully cover grey hair or only blend it?

It does not penetrate the hair shaft or use oxidative chemistry, so it cannot deliver the full, opaque coverage that permanent dyes achieve on resistant white or grey hairs. On a low percentage of grey (first greys, scattered strands) the blending effect can be quite satisfactory. On a high percentage of grey or very coarse white hair, the deposit will be translucent and the grey will still show through, though softened. If you need complete grey coverage, a permanent or demi-permanent oxidative colour is the appropriate choice.
