Can I wear this belt after a C-section or during the postpartum period?

This belt may be chosen postpartum, including after a Caesarean section, when the abdominal area needs gentle external hold. Its effect is purely mechanical: it provides light, even compression around the abdomen and can make standing up, walking, coughing or changing position feel steadier. It is not a substitute for professional care after a procedure.

Postpartum use should start only after your doctor, midwife or obstetrician has confirmed that it is suitable for you. This is especially important after a Caesarean section because the surgical area needs individual assessment, and every body is different. If you are cleared to use it, do not let the compressive part press directly on the surgical scar unless your doctor has told you otherwise. Check the skin underneath regularly for redness, irritation, chafing or persistent marks. Remove the belt while resting or sleeping unless a professional has advised you to wear it longer. Stop using it and contact a doctor if you notice pain, numbness, breathing difficulty, signs of poor circulation, or any unusual change around the surgical area. The belt should feel snug but never so tight that it limits breathing or leaves deep pressure marks.
