This product is described as a body wash, not a facial cleanser. The rinsing and foaming benefits are intended for body skin, which is thicker and less delicate than facial skin. The formula also contains peppermint oil and lime oil, which create the cool, fresh sensation. Those essential oils can feel very intense around the eyes, lips and already sensitive facial areas, so this is not something to rely on as a daily face wash.
If you want to remove sweat, sunscreen and city dust from your face, use your usual facial cleanser first, then cleanse the body with this shower gel. Even if you wash your face by accident, it should not cause a problem for most people, but if it stings or turns the skin red, rinse your face thoroughly and do not use it there again.
For the body, use it in the usual way: apply to wet skin, work into a lather, and rinse off. The cooling mint note is at its strongest when the rinse water is lukewarm rather than very hot.
If you have a chronic skin condition or very reactive skin, talk to your doctor or dermatologist before introducing any new cleanser to your face or body.
