Can I use this shower gel if I have dry or sensitive skin?

This shower gel is positioned for normal skin and for people who enjoy a fresh, vivid scent in body cleansing. It contains sea buckthorn oil, arctic cranberry oil and cedar nut oils, which add emollient properties and help the skin feel smoother. Sea buckthorn oil is noted for helping soften the skin surface and reduce the tight feeling some cleansers can cause, so this is not an aggressively stripping formula.

However, it also contains wild mint and menthol, which create a light cooling sensation. On very dry or reactive skin, that cooling effect can be too much, especially if you shower frequently or live in a cold, dry climate. The practical approach is to use a small amount, focus on the body rather than the face, rinse well, and always follow with a body lotion or body oil while the skin is still slightly damp. If the formula feels too intense, or if you notice redness, stinging or tightness, discontinue use.

For people with a chronic skin condition, a mint-based shower gel is generally not the first choice, but individual tolerance varies. If you are unsure, do a small patch test on a limited area first, and consult a dermatologist or specialist before use if you have a chronic skin condition or are under medical care.
