The serum’s base includes snail secretion filtrate, aloe vera, and cucumber extract — all commonly chosen for their soothing, non-irritating profiles. The texture is fluid and free of heavy occlusives, which many reactive skins tolerate better than rich creams. However, “sensitive” covers a wide range: rosacea-prone, eczema-prone, allergy-prone, or simply easily irritated skin can react to any new ingredient, including botanical extracts or the preservative system required in a water-based serum. The manufacturer advises a patch test before first use: apply a small amount on the inner forearm or behind the ear once daily for 2–3 days. If no redness, itching, or stinging appears, proceed to face use every other day for the first week, then daily if well tolerated. Avoid the eye area entirely. If you already use prescription topicals, strong exfoliants, or retinoids, space the serum application away from those actives (e.g., serum in the morning, retinoid at night) to reduce cumulative irritation. Discontinue immediately if persistent redness, burning, or swelling occurs. This product is a cosmetic for hydration and comfort; it is not a treatment for inflammatory skin conditions and should not replace medical care.
