Can I use this salt if my skin is sensitive, freshly shaved, or prone to dryness?

The product notes explicitly advise caution for very sensitive, freshly shaved, irritated, or dryness-prone skin. A practical approach: reduce the soak to 5–10 minutes for the first few uses, keep the water at the lower end of the warm range (35–37 °C), and use the minimum salt amount (80–100 g). This lets you gauge how your skin responds to the mineral concentration without over-exposure.

Freshly shaved legs or underarms can sting in mineral-rich water because micro-abrasions are exposed. If you shave the same day, either wait a few hours before bathing or apply a thin layer of fragrance-free barrier cream (e.g., a basic petrolatum or ceramide ointment) to the shaved areas before entering the tub.

After the soak, rinse with cool water, pat dry, and apply a moisturiser while skin is still damp — this locks in the hydration the warm water provided. If you notice persistent tightness, itching, or redness, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. The salt is for external use only; do not use on broken skin, open wounds, or active eczema flares.
