Can I use this kit if I have crowns, veneers, fillings, or braces?

The whitening gel acts on natural tooth enamel. Crowns, veneers, composite fillings, inlays, onlays, and denture teeth are made from ceramic, composite resin, or acrylic — none of these materials lighten with peroxide gels. If you whiten surrounding natural teeth, existing restorations may appear darker by comparison, creating a visible mismatch in your smile line. If you have fixed braces (brackets and wires), the gel cannot reach the enamel beneath the brackets, leading to uneven colour once the braces are removed. Removable aligners should be taken out during the session; do not wear the LED mouthpiece over them. If you have extensive dental work in your aesthetic zone, discuss timing and shade planning with your dentist before starting — they may recommend whitening first, then replacing restorations to match the new shade.
