Can I use this cream with my serum, facial oil or evening active products?

This night cream is meant to be used after cleansing, so it can be combined with other skincare steps. The usual order is to apply water-based products first — toners, essences, serums or ampoules — and finish with a moisturiser. If you use a facial oil, you can mix a drop into the cream or apply the oil after the cream, depending on the oil’s texture; a lighter oil can go before, a richer one after. The cream itself contains grapeseed oil, shea butter and cocoa butter, so it already provides emollient ingredients; additional oil is only necessary if your cheeks feel very dry.

If your evening routine includes exfoliating acids or retinoids, the product description specifically advises introducing this cream thoughtfully and watching how your skin responds. That is because acids and retinoids can increase sensitivity, and a new moisturiser may feel different on skin that is already adjusting to those actives. A practical approach is to start using the cream every other night, or only on nights when you are not using a strong active, until you know how your skin tolerates the combination. If any stinging, redness or breakouts appear, stop using the new product and let your skin settle before trying again.

There is no need to apply a large amount. A thin, even layer is enough for overnight hydration. If you use a spot treatment for blemishes, apply it before the moisturiser and avoid dragging the cream over the treated area, or apply the cream first and then dab the treatment on top, depending on the product’s instructions. The cream is a moisturiser, not a spot treatment or acne product. This is a cosmetic product for skin care only.
