Can I use this cream on my face?

The product name and the description clearly position SHIK NECTAR as a hand and body cream, not a facial cream. While the ingredients — glycerin, panthenol, allantoin, blueberry extract and oat milk — are all common in skincare and generally considered gentle, the presence of fragrance is an important difference. Facial skin is thinner and often more reactive than the skin on the hands or body, so a fragranced hand cream applied to the face is more likely to cause stinging or irritation, especially around the eyes and on the cheeks.

If you are looking for a face moisturiser, it is safer to choose a product explicitly labelled for facial use, ideally fragrance-free. Using a hand and body cream on the face occasionally might not cause a problem for everyone, but it is not the intended use. For that reason, the practical advice is to reserve this cream for hands, elbows, shins and other body areas, and use a separate dedicated facial moisturiser if your routine calls for one.

If you have very dry, flaky skin on the face, remember that a cosmetic cannot treat underlying conditions. If facial dryness is persistent, painful or accompanied by redness, consult a doctor or dermatologist.
