Can I use GOLDEN PHARM red clay soap on my face if I have oily or combination skin?

Yes, this solid soap can be used on the face, and it is often chosen for oilier areas such as the T-zone. The red clay acts like a fine mineral powder: it helps absorb excess oil from the skin surface and lifts away impurities while you wash. The classic soap base creates foam and rinses off easily, so it does not leave a heavy layer behind.

For facial use, it may be a better fit if your skin does not react strongly to soap-based cleansers. A simple approach is to use it once a day, usually in the evening, to remove surface dirt and the residue that builds up during the day. Work up a lather in your hands, apply to damp skin, massage briefly, and rinse thoroughly. Avoid the eye area.

Because this is a soap with clay, it can be more intensive than a gentle liquid cleanser. If your skin tends to feel tight after washing, reduce how often you use it on the face — for example, every other day — and follow with a suitable moisturiser or face cream. If irritation or sensitivity appears, stop using it.

If you have very dry, easily irritated or compromised skin, this type of soap may be too intensive for daily facial cleansing. In that case it is safer to reserve it for body areas such as the back or shoulders, or to choose a milder cleanser for the face.
