Can I combine this gel with oral joint supplements or other topical products?

This gel acts locally on the skin and underlying tissues where applied. It does not deliver systemic doses of chondroitin or other ingredients, so it does not replace or duplicate oral joint supplements (such as glucosamine, chondroitin, collagen, or omega-3s) taken by mouth. Many people use both as part of a broader routine — oral supplements for ongoing nutritional support, and a topical gel for targeted, on-demand comfort.

If you use other topicals, be mindful of ingredient overlap. Avoid applying another camphor-, menthol-, capsaicin-, or salicylate-containing product on the same area within a short window, as combined warming/cooling agents can overstimulate nerves and cause burning, redness, or even chemical irritation. Wait at least 2–3 hours between different active topicals, and always wash hands thoroughly after each application.

Urea and glycerine in this gel help maintain skin moisture, which can be helpful if you use drying treatments (like certain medicated creams) elsewhere. However, if you are using prescription topicals (e.g., corticosteroids, NSAID gels) on the same joints, check with your prescribing clinician before adding a warming herbal gel, as increased blood flow and skin permeability could alter drug absorption.

Store the tube below 25°C, cap tightly after each use, and discard 12 months after opening (or per the PAO symbol on the packaging) to ensure the essential oils and herbal extracts remain stable and effective.
