Dr.Retter Eucalyptus Essential Oil is a 100% essential oil, so it is highly concentrated. It should not be applied directly to the skin unless the manufacturer specifically gives that instruction. Undiluted essential oils can be too strong for the skin and may cause discomfort, especially on sensitive areas.
If you want to use it for a cooling, invigorating massage aroma, mix it first with a suitable carrier oil, such as a neutral body oil. Apply only to intact skin, avoid the face, eyes, mucous membranes and freshly shaved or irritated areas, and wash your hands after handling the oil. If you are trying a diluted blend for the first time, apply a small amount to a limited area and wait to see whether your skin tolerates it.
This product is best understood as an aromatic ingredient rather than a ready-to-use skincare oil. Its value comes from eucalyptus volatile compounds, especially eucalyptol, which give it the recognisable crisp and penetrating scent. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a chronic condition, use medication, or plan to use it around children, check suitability with a qualified specialist before use.
