Can BRONCHOLIPTI be applied to the skin, and how should it be diluted?

BRONCHOLIPTI is a concentrated essential oil complex, so it should not be applied undiluted to sensitive skin. For topical use, mix a small amount into a neutral base oil, body oil, unscented cream, or lotion before applying. The intended skin use is diluted topical application, and it gives a warming, refreshing sensation, largely because of methyl salicylate combined with the cooling note from menthol.

To reduce the chance of a reaction, do a patch test on a small area such as the inside of the forearm, then wait to see whether any redness or itching appears. If it does, do not use the product. Avoid the eye area, lips, and other mucous membranes, and do not apply the blend to broken or already irritated skin. After applying it to another part of your body, wash your hands unless your hands are the target area.

Do not cover the treated area with an occlusive bandage or combine it with a strong external heat source, as this may increase skin sensitivity. If you have very reactive skin, are prone to allergies, or are unsure whether this product suits you, ask a pharmacist or doctor before using it.
