Botanika Kalmuse eeterlik õli 10 ml is an essential oil distilled from calamus root (Acorus calamus). In body care, this aromatic oil is usually chosen as a warming addition to massage blends, oil-based masks and other diluted cosmetic applications. It is especially interesting for oily skin, when you want a formula that feels toning and helps the skin look more balanced.
Calamus root has a long tradition of use in herbal and aromatic preparations. In essential oil form, it is valued not as a basic moisturizer on its own, but as a concentrated active that works best when added in small amounts to a carrier oil or finished cosmetic. On the skin, calamus essential oil creates a warming sensation because it encourages microcirculation near the surface. This can make massage blends feel more relaxing after physical strain and can give the skin a more lively, refreshed appearance.
Because this is a pure essential oil, the form matters: steam-distilled root oil is highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way.
