Medikomed Essential Oil Litsea cubeba (Verbena) is a 100% natural, single-ingredient cosmetic-grade essential oil derived from the fruit of Litsea cubeba (May Chang) — a small tropical tree of the Lauraceae family native to East and Southeast Asia. Despite the trade name "Verbena" used in some Eastern European markets, this oil is the pure essential oil of Litsea cubeba, which has a characteristically fresh, citrus-lemon aroma, distinctly different from true Verbena (Lippia citriodora). Litsea cubeba essential oil is rich in citral (geranial and neral), limonene and linalool, giving it its bright, uplifting and stimulating lemon-citrus scent. In cosmetics, it is used as a natural fragrance ingredient in creams, masks, shampoos, soaps and shower gels; in aromatherapy, it is diffused or used in bath preparations and massage blends as an aromatic component. The oil is concentrated and should always be diluted before skin contact.

INGREDIENTS (INCI): Litsea Cubeba (May Chang) Fruit Oil.
USE: For aromatherapy and cosmetic use only. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin. Typical use: aroma diffuser/lamp — 1 drop; aromatic bath — 1–2 drops in bath oil or dispersant; massage blend — 2–3 drops per 10 ml carrier oil; add to ready-made cosmetics. Do not apply undiluted to skin or mucous membranes.
WARNINGS: CONCENTRATED ESSENTIAL OIL — do not apply undiluted to skin. Do not ingest. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. In case of skin irritation, rinse with plenty of water. Contains citral and limonene (natural fragrance allergens) — perform a patch test before extended skin use. Avoid use during pregnancy without medical guidance. Keep out of reach of children.
