This version is a long, segmented ribbon (9 segments) with a needle pitch of 4.3 mm and silver‑coated needles, supplied in a convenient 1+1 set.

How it works

The principle behind the applicator combines mechanical and galvanic action. When body weight presses the ribbon, hundreds of small metal needles press into the skin without piercing it. The needles are made of different metals (typically zinc, copper, iron, nickel and silver), and in the presence of natural moisture on the skin micro‑galvanic currents arise between them. This gentle electrical effect, together with mechanical pressure on reflex zones, distinguishes Lyapko applicators from a simple needle mat.

Practical use and flexibility
