Burdock oil — a traditional cosmetic oil in Eastern European hair care — provides the principal lipid carrier base enriched with burdock root phytochemicals, delivering active scalp care and conditioning. Wheat germ oil provides tocopherols (vitamin E complex), phytosterols and omega fatty acids for intensive nourishment of the hair root and scalp. Walnut oil provides omega-3 ALA fatty acids and polyphenolic tannins for scalp conditioning. Siberian cedar oil (Pinus sibirica) provides pinolenic acid (omega-5, an unusual fatty acid found in pine seed oils) and tocopherols.
