Hemp seed oil (derived exclusively from the cold-pressed seeds of Cannabis sativa) contains no THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) or CBD (cannabidiol) — it is a pure carrier vegetable oil with no psychoactive properties. Hemp seed oil is one of the most nutritionally balanced plant oils available, with a near-ideal 3:1 ratio of omega-6 (linoleic acid, 57%) to omega-3 (alpha-linolenic acid, 21%) fatty acids, together with gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and oleic acid. These essential fatty acids provide hemp seed oil with excellent skin barrier-supporting properties, contributing to intensive nourishment, softening and toning of the skin surface of the hands.
