Medikomed Cypress Essential Oil 10ml is a cosmetic aromatic essential oil from Medikomed (Russia), featuring the distinctive, elegant fragrance of cypress (Cupressus sempervirens L., Mediterranean or Italian cypress) — a characteristically dry, clean, balsamic, slightly sweet and woody-resinous scent, with fresh, conifer-like and lightly spicy undertones. Cypress essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the young branchlets, twigs and cones of the Mediterranean cypress (Cupressus sempervirens), which is native to the Eastern Mediterranean region but widely planted throughout Southern Europe and the Mediterranean basin. The principal aromatic compounds of cypress essential oil include alpha-pinene (up to 40–60%), delta-3-carene, limonene, camphor, linalool and cedrol, giving it a crisp, almost cold, clean forest character. The cosmetic oil is used in aromatic baths (1–2 drops per bath), body massage oil blends (2–3 drops per base oil), aromatic oil diffuser/lamp use (1 drop), and to enrich cosmetic creams and preparations (1–4 drops per 15 g). 10 ml.
