Cosmetic gel Medikomed Elastin 15 ml is built around elastin — a structural protein that, together with collagen, forms the supportive scaffolding of the skin and gives it the ability to stretch and bounce back. With age, sun exposure and dryness, the natural elastin network weakens, the skin starts to feel thinner and looser, and fine lines become more visible. A topical gel with elastin works as an external helper that smooths the surface and improves how the skin looks and feels in the short term.
The gel format is light, water-based and quickly absorbed, without an oily film — a comfortable choice for combination and oilier skin types, and a pleasant layer under makeup. Hydrolysed elastin molecules form a thin, breathable layer on the surface that holds moisture, softens the feel of dry patches and visually evens out skin texture. Skin looks fresher, more elastic and better hydrated almost immediately after application.
The 15 ml tube is handy for travel and for trying the product before committing to a larger size.
Apply a small amount to clean, slightly damp skin on the face and neck, gently press in with fingertips and follow with your usual cream. It pairs well with serums containing hyaluronic acid, panthenol or niacinamide, and does not conflict with classic moisturisers from the Medikomed cosmetics line.
A short note of caution: this is a cosmetic product, not a medicine, and it cannot replace deeper structural changes in the skin or professional procedures. Avoid contact with the eyes and broken skin. If you have very reactive skin or a known allergy to protein-based ingredients, test the gel on a small area of the forearm first and discontinue use if irritation appears.
