A common starting dilution is 1–2 drops of the essential oil per 5 ml (about one teaspoon) of a neutral carrier oil such as sweet almond, jojoba, or fractionated coconut oil. This ratio provides a gentle concentration that is typical for essential‑oil blends used in massage or body‑care rituals. After mixing, apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist or the crook of the elbow and wait at least 24 hours to observe any signs of irritation or redness. If no reaction occurs, the blend can be used more broadly, but it is still advisable to keep the overall concentration low, especially for first‑time users. Store the diluted mixture in a dark glass bottle and keep it out of reach of children.
