Iodine Pencil Solution 2.5% (5 ml)
An external‑use antiseptic in an ergonomic pencil applicator. Contains clear reddish‑brown iodine solution with a characteristic odor for precise, no‑mess wound care.
Composition
Active ingredient (per 5 ml):
- Elemental iodine 0.125 g
Excipients:
- Potassium iodide 0.125 g
- Ethyl alcohol 90% up to 5 ml
- Purified water 0.125 ml

Indications for Use
- Treat minor wounds, abrasions, cuts, and micro‑traumas
- Marking and preparing surgical fields or fingertips
- Manage fungal skin infections and myositis
- Care for insect bites and blister‑prone areas
- Treat postoperative and post‑traumatic scars
- Address purulent‑inflammatory skin conditions (pyoderma, furunculosis, blepharitis)
Usage Instructions
Remove cap and apply directly to the affected area, covering surrounding healthy skin as needed. Allow to dry. Close cap after each use. Intended for individual use only.
Precautions & Side Effects
- Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and open wounds to prevent irritation
- Can be used during pregnancy and lactation with care
- May cause short‑term burning sensation; discontinue if severe irritation occurs
