Antipohmelin Tablets is a dietary supplement providing succinic acid (amber acid), glycine and vitamin C (ascorbic acid), formulated to be used as a dietary supplement after excessive alcohol consumption. The formula is built around three key ingredients: succinic acid (ammonium acid), which is a naturally occurring metabolic intermediate in the Krebs cycle; glycine, a non-essential amino acid with roles in hepatic metabolism; and ascorbic acid (vitamin C), a water-soluble antioxidant. Succinic acid contributes as an energy metabolism substrate; glycine is involved in hepatic detoxification pathways; vitamin C provides antioxidant protection. The tablets are sweetened with isomaltitol (a sugar alcohol derived from sucrose) and contain no artificial colorants. 6 tablets, 3 g total weight.
