Pharmacological action:
Tincture of peony is a medicinal sedative agent that contains the herb and root of evasive peony, ethyl alcohol, and water.
This preparation is used for various neurasthenic conditions, sleep disorders, as well as vegetative-vascular disorders of various origins.
In addition, this preparation has antispasmodic, antimicrobial, and anticonvulsant effects.
Traditional medicine suggests using peony tincture for treating various metabolic disorders, as well as gastrointestinal diseases, and as a general tonic.
Indications:
- Gastrointestinal diseases, normalization of metabolism in the body;
- Effect on the central nervous system to calm, normalize emotional background, reduce excitability, tension, increase human productivity and endurance;
- For obsessive, anxious states, phobias;
- Normalization of biological rhythms, improvement of sleep;
- Benign and malignant neoplasms (including cystic formations of the ovaries; the preparation is positioned as an effective adjuvant in the complex therapy of polycystic ovary syndrome and uterine cervix diseases);
- Convulsions, spasms;
- Skin diseases;
- General tonic effect;
- Correction of premenstrual syndrome symptoms, climacteric disorders;
- Skin healing (in cosmetology);
- Hair health, combating hair loss, regulating the function of sebaceous glands of the scalp (the alcohol present in the tincture warms the scalp, amino acids, and essential oils have a favorable effect on the hair structure);
- Peony tincture also has some analgesic effect and can be used to treat migraines of unclear etiology.
Composition:
Water, ethanol (ethyl alcohol), peony extract (Paeonia officinalis L.) 1:10.
Recommended dose:
1 ml (32 drops)
Recommendation for use:
Take 32 drops, dissolving them in 50 ml of water.
Warnings:
