Linden Flowers by FarmGroup - plant material intended for the preparation of infusions. Infusions have antipyretic and diaphoretic effects, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, soothing, diuretic, cholagogue, bactericidal, and antiallergic effects. They also exhibit sedative, antispasmodic, and anticonvulsant effects, which is particularly important when experiencing headaches against the background of respiratory infection. The high mucilage content provides a enveloping and interferonogenic effect. Additionally, it is a strong antihypoxic and antioxidant.
Pharmacological Effect
Linden flowers contain essential oils, flavonoids (quercetin, hesperidin), saponins, polysaccharides, tannins, ascorbic acid, carotenoids, macro- and microelements. The flowers also yield farnesol alcohol and phytoncides. The rich composition determines the beneficial properties of linden flowers, which are well studied to date. Decoctions have antipyretic and diaphoretic effects, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, soothing, diuretic, cholagogue, bactericidal, and antiallergic effects. They also exhibit sedative, antispasmodic, and anticonvulsant effects, which is particularly important when experiencing headaches against the background of respiratory infection. Indications
Linden flowers are used internally in the form of infusions as part of complex therapy for the treatment of respiratory viral diseases. Topically, they are used for gargling the throat and oral cavity in gingivitis, angina, and stomatitis.
Dosage
Pour 1 tablespoon of the mixture (5 g) with 1 glass (200 ml) of boiling water, infuse for 15 minutes, strain. Adults should take 1 glass three times a day during meals. Duration of intake - 1 month.
