Calcium. The physiological significance of calcium in the body is diverse. It is the main mineral component of bone tissue - hydroxyapatite, the microcrystals of which form the structure of solid bone.
Calcium ions provide stability of cell membranes by forming bonds between negatively charged groups of phospholipids, structural proteins, and glycoproteins.
Calcium plays an important role in providing interaction between cells, ensuring proper adhesion (cell attachment) during tissue formation.
In addition to plastic and structural functions, calcium plays a decisive role in the functioning of many physiological and biochemical processes: it is necessary for the normal excitability of the nervous system and muscle contraction, activates many enzymes and hormones, and is an important component of the blood coagulation system.
COMPOSITION: calcium gluconate, corn starch, calcium stearate, and amorphous silicon dioxide (anti-caking agents).
DOSAGE: it is recommended for adults and children over 14 years of age to take 2 tablets 2 times a day with food for 1-2 months. The reception can be repeated if necessary. The daily dose (4 tablets) contains 18% of the daily calcium norm for adults.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: individual intolerance to components, pregnancy, breastfeeding. Consult a doctor before use. The dietary supplement is not a drug. Do not use a dietary supplement as a substitute for a varied diet! It is important to eat varied and balanced, as well as to lead a healthy lifestyle.
